Hello + welcome!
I'm Celia. I work as an artist [painter] + aerialist [fabric climber]. I mostly work with Oil Paint these days, though I once did a good bit of photography. On occasion, I do small batches of silversmithing. You can find that by clicking here:
Lavender + Sky
I have been creating from the time I was young. I grew up on a fairly secluded mountain and had a lot of time to create. My parents taught me to use carpentry tools, sew, to make functional items, + art from scratch. My mom had a pottery studio in the house when I was a child. And, it was in my childhood when I fell in love with Impressionism; I was particularly inspired by French Impressionist painter, Berthe Morisot. My degrees are in art, design, and dance - from Appalachian State University. I am blessed to reside in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
Oh yeah... I love animals!
